Out With The Old, In With The New…

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on my blog, I’ve missed everyone who has supported me even though I took a break without warning. YIKES! But I have good reasons. First, I’m expecting a baby girl on february 14th, 2015. Being pregnant and keeping up with a 3 1/2 year old takes up all my little energy. Second, Baby Kruiz has been giving me so much life in the creative department. My little soon-to-be aquarian gave me great ideas for DIY projects, so you know what that means- the up and coming material will be fresh worth the wait! Third, I want to start the new year off with a different approach with my blogging. I will soon be doing video blogs. I was quite nervous about the idea, but a new year means new changes and a new outlook. My attitude towards the things that used to make me afraid no longer crowds my mind. You wont find any resolutions here but my new year, new look, new attitude approach is quite refreshing and promising.

In 2014 I’ve held back when it came to Tall Tales of Style. I was afraid to take a leap out on faith with certain aspects of my business. But I’m excited to grow and have you grow with me with the expansion of Tall Tales of Style. I want to connect more with my readers and I want you guys to reach out to me as well. I don’t want to be that ghost blogger in the background, I’m making a name for myself and taking Tall Tales of Style to new heights. Are you willing to join me?

Now On To The Fun Stuff…

As a mom cooking and cleaning is a daily task. But also in the midst of taking care of family, we lose that one thing that makes us feel good as a woman. Simple things like a trip to the spa, the hair salon, nail shop, a new shoe, or fitting in that perfect pair of jeans seems impossible. My sister-in-love who’s a work from home mom came up with a great idea! Aside from our usual deep cleaning and cooking for the new year, she decided to de-frumpatize by 11:59 LOL. By 12:00am it’ll be a new year, new look and new attitude. We decided to say ba-bye to the frump and hello to the spunk! That means put on your fiercest makeup, finest pieces, and highest heel to bring out your spunk. Do whatever makes you feel good inside and out as a woman! Next, take a pic. 1 of your frump and the other of your spunk. This challenge is for every mom, SAHMs, working moms, business/entrepreneur moms, etc. This challenge is for you! Don’t forget to use the hashtag #DefeatTheFrump2015 or #Frumpy2Spunky on Instagram. Let’s start a movement ladies, it’s all in good fun! #GirlPower… I can’t wait to see you in your fiercest!
